• Horse Stance

    Stand with your feet at least shoulder width apart (a little more if you want, depending on what is comfortable for your body, adjust accordingly. Bend your knees and lower your body as if going into a squat and hold it. Make sure your back is straight. Depending on your preference, you may put your hands together as if in prayer if you like or, traditionally, close your hands into fists, turn your hands so that your fingers face the ceiling and pull your elbows back under your shoulders with your fists against the sides of your torso (lower or higher depending on style and comfort).
